Empowerment Christian Center - A Place To
I. Community Social Impact:
  • Darlington County Coordinating Council - involves a membership of  all county
    private and government social services assistance. (ECC is the only church
    represented in this service awareness organization).
  • Angel Food Ministry - sponsors and provides affordable USDA food monthly.
  • Harvest Hope  -  ECC’s A Bridge Between Difficulties To Destiny sponsors and
    provides free grocery every 4th Tuesday of the month.  
  • Evangelism/outreach - quarterly clothes give away, community cookouts,
    Thanksgiving dinners, senior citizens wellness visits, i.e.

II. Community Youth Impact:
  • Every 3rd Sunday Youth Worship - youth emphasis, influence and involvement.
  • Empowering A Generation Ministries - every Wednesday.
  • Hoops 2 Heaven - every Saturday, Basketball, male mentoring and character building.
    Middle and High School students only.
  • Key Partnerships for Youth - Pathway to Parenting; Darlington  County School
    District Board meetings; School visits to encourage ECC students; Pee-Dee Coalition
    Against Domestic Violence; Darlington County First Steps; Circle of Excellence.
  • ECC provides mentoring for Darlington County DJJ.
  • Internet Ministry -  a My-Space intervention with Pastor White.

III. Community Educational Impact:
  • Christian Education - Power 4 Living bible study every Tuesday; Sunday Morning
    Church School
  • Adult Education - available for ECC members - G.E.D. scholarships and incentives;
    college scholarships.

IV.  Community Economical Impact:
  • Qualified Entrepreneurship and new business start up training, available for ECC
    members.
  • Christian Money Management training.
  • ECC is a strong member of the Greater Darlington Chamber of Commerce.

V.  Community Political Impact:
  • Sponsor voter registrations.
  • Active involvement with Darlington City Council.
  • Active involvement with Darlington County Council.
