Empowerment Christian Center - A Place To
| ECC presents Hoops 2 Heaven Many teens converge weekly on The Trinity UMC Youth Center with one common purpose, basketball tournaments sponsored by Empowerment Christian Center (ECC). This is the latest outreach effort between two diverse denominations and cultures to reach youth for Christ. On Saturdays, 3pm - 6pm, area middle and high school youth from Darlington areas participate in this outreach event. The games are not the only benefits, but more importantly, encouraging life learning and character building sessions and prayer. With over 50 participants, this initial outreach event has been a huge success. The response has been such a success that it has become a model for reach for other organizations and churches. Pastor White's overall vision and mission of this outreach is to empower youth, steering them to become empowered adults. Male mentors and supervisor needed.
